Karen Eagle holds a Bachelor degree in Music Education/Music Therapy from the UMKC Conservatory of Music, Kansas City, Mo., and a Master of Arts in Music, Concentration in Church Music and Liturgy, with an Emphasis in Choral Conducting, from Saint Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Indiana. Currently, Karen Eagle teaches general music for the Blue Springs, Missouri School District, and has worked parttime as a pastoral musician for Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri for 19 years, serving as music director, cantor and adult choir director. Since 1984, she has consistently performed as a professional soprano soloist, ensemble and choral singer, at weddings, funerals, private parties, and special celebrations.  Formerly, she sang for several seasons with the Kansas City Chorale, under the direction of Charles Bruffy. Ms. Eagle is frequently called on to adjudicate high school soloists and ensembles who compete at district, regional and statewide contest levels. She has sung and studied choral conducting under the tutelage of Doctors Charles Robinson and Eph Ely at UMKC Conservatory of Music, Kansas City, Missouri; Dr. Paul Salomunovich at Christendom College Sacred Music Colloquium, Front Royal, Virginia; Doctors John McIntyre, Rev. Lawrence Heiman, C.PP.S (Gregorian Chant Studies Specialist), and Todd Samra at St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Indiana.  Karen's professional acting experience includes stage performance, commercial and industrial videos, TV, screen, and voice over work.  She also has a background in business.
